These entry-level Z3s are sometimes overlooked. But for great looks, a fun drive and enough German practicality to fit in the weekly shop, what more do you need from a modern classic roadster? And all for under £3,000.

This nicely presented Z3 widebody is in good order inside and out. The hood is watertight, free from any tears and pulls up and down easily. The cabin has been well looked after with seats and dash in very nice condition. Paintwork is good although the new owner may wish to attend to a few small areas of flaky paint that are just emerging on the insides of a couple of the wheel arches.
