A super little late series 2-door Morris Minor 1000 in overall good condition. This very usable classic starts on the button and runs and sounds like a Minor should. No drama from the engine or gearbox and drives well through the range with no untoward rattles or smokiness. The engine bay is clean and tidy with evidence that the car has been well maintained over the years with, for example, a fairly new electric fuel pump fitted. Steering and suspension are fine, the brakes a little soft but nothing that a new set of shoes won’t address.
Cream paintwork is nice and free from any significant issues save the odd blemish here and there as befits a car of this vintage. Sills and underside are solid. Brightwork is all good and shiny.
Inside is as typically unembellished as you’d expect. But nothing wrong or broken and the carpets, seats and headlining are all in good order. The seats appear to have been supplemented with headrests.
All in all, a great example of a Minor which can be enjoyed immediately as well as offering scope to fettle and improve as and when desired.
