Built for the chairman of Standard bank in Singapore and delivered by Malaya Motors in 1951..........the car provided superb service In the region until the late 1960s when the car came back to the UK before making its way to Switzerland..............The car lay un-discovered until several years ago when it was re-commissioned. Soon after a restoration program was begun and has subsequently stalled.............the aluminium body has been prepared for new paint and the engine was removed for reasons un-known. The engine turns freely and is in position but not bolted/connected. After some considerable time checking the inventory it can be concluded the car is complete other than the mascot and a cushion...............no structural work other than a small patch needed in the boot.........the interior is untidy, all the wood has been prepared for polishing but will need some minor marquetry repairs. The all important grille is without damage and all slats are operational. A thoroughly beautiful motor car when complete and our asking price is very attractive relative to the comparable prices of the few cars available..............
