A superlative Series 4 Sunbeam Alpine looking absolutely fantastic in glorious Carnival Red.

It's almost impossible to find an Alpine that hasn't been subject to curative welding around the numerous rot-spots at some point....sadly the quality of repairs often making a bad situation even worse....but we're pleased that in this case the bodywork and chassis have been refurbished to the highest standard by a professional Alpine specialist (photographic history file supplied) with many thousands spent on restoration work around 18 months ago.

As well as looking great on the outside, the interior and pull-up hood are also very good and the chromework top-notch....the later version 1725cc drivetrain has benefitted from a number of sympathetic modifcations over the years....twin Stromberg carbs, K&N pancake air filters, electric fan, alloy wheels and a brand new clutch to name a few. It starts on the button every time and the drive is a real pleasure.....there can't be many better ways to while away the hours sedately exploring the British countryside!
